We had a wonderful time at the resort, enjoying the breathtaking lake views and spacious rooms perfect for our family. However, we did encounter some issues with housekeeping and a disappointing dining experience at the restaurant. Still, the amenities, like the indoor pool and recreational equipment, really added to our stay.
The room we stayed in was spacious and had a fantastic view of Mirror Lake, although it could have used a better clean and a mattress cover.
The staff were warm and helpful, making an effort to enhance our stay, but we did experience delays with housekeeping.
The location was excellent, with easy access to downtown and various activities right at our fingertips.
We found the breakfast at the restaurant to be quite delicious but a bit overpriced considering the quality.
The resort offered a good range of recreational activities, which we enjoyed, but the indoor pool was a tad chilly for us.

High Peaks Resort offers a cozy and charming environment perfect for enjoying Lake Placid. The outdoor pool area is delightful, and the view from the rooms is nothing short of spectacular. The breakfast at The Dancing Bears can be hit or miss, and some aspects of the rooms, like cleanliness and temperature control, could use improvement. Overall, it provides a enjoyable stay with some room for enhancement.
The room with a lake view was excellent but had some cleanliness issues. The temperature control was inconsistent, which affected our comfort.
The service was attentive and friendly, especially during check-in, which made a great impression.
The location is fantastic, right near downtown, with easy access to restaurants and lakeside activities.
The breakfast at The Dancing Bears had a large selection, but the quality varied, and we experienced some service hiccups.
The facilities, including the pools, were well-maintained and enjoyable, adding great value to our stay.

Our stay at the resort was absolutely wonderful, with a great location near downtown Lake Placid and stunning views of the lake. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the indoor and outdoor pools were a delightful addition. However, we did run into some minor issues with housekeeping, which could use improvement. We also found that while dining options were decent, they could be better in terms of value for money.
The rooms were spacious and had breathtaking views of Mirror Lake and Whiteface. They were also very clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable.
The service was attentive and helpful, making check-in a breeze and ensuring we had all the information we needed. The staff truly went above and beyond to enhance our experience.
The location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown attractions and restaurants, which made exploring the area so convenient. We loved being so close to everything.
The food was good but felt slightly overpriced. We enjoyed the breakfast options, but I believe there's room for improvement regarding variety and pricing.
The resort had excellent facilities, including both indoor and outdoor pools which were nicely maintained. The additional offerings, like complimentary use of water equipment, added fun to our stay.

Our stay at the resort was truly enjoyable! The gorgeous views of Mirror Lake added a special touch to our experience. The outdoor pool area was perfect for relaxing. We also appreciated the complimentary use of kayaks and paddle boards. However, the dining experience didn't quite live up to our expectations, and the rooms, while spacious, were starting to show their age.
The rooms were spacious with breathtaking views of Mirror Lake. However, they felt a little dated aside from the oversized bathroom.
The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to provide helpful information, which made our stay even more pleasant.
The resort is ideally located, with easy access to shops and restaurants on Main Street, making it convenient for exploring the area.
The breakfast options were good but did not offer a large variety; we felt they could improve in this area.
The outdoor pool area was well-maintained and offered stunning views, enhancing our leisure time.

Our stay at High Peaks Resort was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic with easy access to downtown Lake Placid and stunning views of Mirror Lake. The rooms were generally clean and comfortable, but we had some issues with noise from nearby dogs which interrupted our experience. The dining options at Dancing Bears restaurant were tasty, although a bit overpriced, and we enjoyed the amenities like complimentary kayaks. Overall, it's a nice place for a family getaway, but we had a bit of a rough start.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice views of the lake and mountains.
Service was generally friendly and attentive, although we encountered some communication issues at check-in.
The hotel's location is great, very close to downtown attractions and restaurants.
Dining at Dancing Bears offered a good selection, though some dishes felt overpriced for what you got.
The hotel featured nice outdoor spaces and pools, as well as free use of recreational equipment like kayaks.
